Eric Dailey Jr. is a versatile 6’8  basketball player for IMG Academy from Bradenton, Florida. He is ranked 34 in ESPN’s top 60 of the 2022 draft class.

It wasn’t by fluke that Eric Jr. has become the basketball prodigy that he is.

His father Eric Dailey Sr. is a former professional basketball player with over 10 years professional playing experience in Europe, Asia, and South America. He is now not only the CEO of Dailey Training International but he also serves as an ambassador for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, an influential figure for the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and is the International Basketball Director for AAU.

His mother Shell Dailey sits at the pinnacle of women’s basketball. She is a 20+ year basketball professional, with roles including WNBA Head Coach of the San Antonio Silver Stars and a Head Coach at Texas Christian University at the Division I NCAA level. For the past 13 years Shell has been Head Coach and Director of the Girl’s Basketball Program at IMG Academy.
